Production Employee      

Since 2000, United Food Ingredients, Inc. has been recognized as a nationwide leader in seasoning and specialty blends development and manufacturing.

 About the role

We are looking for an employee to join our production team to help manufacturer seasonings and blends.

Responsibilities

·         Weigh spices and other ingredients into specific amounts

·         Fill equipment with bags of ingredients weighing up to 55 LBS each

·         Use equipment to move sacks of bulk product

·         Fill bags with finished product according to the weight required

·         Load boxes or bags onto pallet at the end of the line and wrap pallet

·         Complete production paperwork

·         Wash and clean production equipment when necessary

·         Follow policies and procedures

·         Help train new employees

·         Dispose of trash and help maintain a clean and organized warehouse

·         Any other responsibilities that are assigned

Location & Commitments

·         Full-time, permanent

·         Monday – Friday 6:00AM – 2:30PM, but able to stay until 4:30PM if necessary.

·         Burr Ridge, IL

·         Overtime and/or weekend hours may be required

Candidate requirements

·         Previous manufacturing work preferred

·         Can lift 50 LBS continuously

·         Ability to work 8-10 hours (lifting, stacking, standing, etc.)

·         General math, reading and writing skills

·         Spanish speaking

·         Must communicate well (both speaking and writing)

·         Must have a positive attitude and work well with other team members

Compensation and benefits

·         Pay: $20- $21.50 per hour
